AEW Dynamite has been of a run of great episodes specially inside the ring, I think they are trending upwards tickets wise and that will impact the TV ratings as well (Is funny I´m writing this when they are about to do their least attended taping but the onsales have been doing well). Using inspiration from WCW Nitro.

Fight For The Fallen, Winter Is Coming, the Anniversaries, Quake by the Lake and the New Year´s Smash shows are usually supercards that usually works to have a place to do the big matches in the middle of the PPV cycles, I think some of this shows have to be put in a big venues and some of this ones should be in even bigger places, yeah I´m talking about stadiums.

AEW Dynamite specials in Big Venues: New Year´s Smash, St. Patrick´s Day Slam, AEW Anniversary, Fyter Fest Night 1 and Night 2, Dynamite Anniversary and Holiday Bash

I think having a venue that makes you remember of a special is great, look at Grand Slam in the Arthur Ashe Stadium, not a lot of things to say but this is the venues I would use for each special Dynamite usually does.

  • AEW Dynamite New Year´s Smash: Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.
  • AEW Dynamite St. Patrick´s Day Slam: Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon.
  • AEW Dynamite AEW Anniversary: MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas. Nevada.
  • AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Night 1: O2 Arena in London, England.
  • AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest Night 2: Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
  • AEW Dynamite Dynamite Anniversary: Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle. Washington.
  • AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash: Addition Financial Arena, Orlando. Florida.

AEW Dynamite specials in Stadiums: Winter Is Coming and Fight For The Fallen or Quake By The Lake

I have to be honest, the stadiums shows are a bit of a reach because have a huge amount of factors that I could say is almost imposible because either the product is not hot enough or the rent of a portion of the stadium wouldn´t be profitable for the promotion. My candidates to hold this Dynamite specials are the Alamodome and the Raymond James Stadium.

Goldberg vs Bryan Adams in the Alamodome in 1998

The Alamodome would be very interesting to run because it can be setup for different capacities very easily, AEW can´t use any Texas big venue (+12k seats) because they have been blocked by WWE. The Alamodome has been used for TV tapings by WCW two times. The special Dynamite show I would do is Winter Is Coming that has had some of the biggest moments in AEW history like Kenny Omega winning the AEW World Heavyweight Championship, Sting´s debut as well of the 60 minute draw between Adam Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson.

I think we the right publicity and the right card it could sell over 20k tickets, should be treated as important as the Grand Slam show in New York.

Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks in the Raymond James Stadium

This one is very hard to make because AEW is totally blocked of the venues in Tampa and I don´t really know if the could even run this stadium, I think they could because WWE hasn´t run this stadium in a while. Tampa is a very good wrestling territory with WWE drawing big houses for their TV tapings. This could be a big bet because is a very expensive place, I think they could do their debut in Tampa in this stadium and if its succesful could become a tradition every year or two. The special Dynamite show I would do here is the Fight For The Fallen show that has as trademark moment The Elite vs Adam Hangman Page & The Dark Order in that legendary 5 vs 5 Elimination tag match or Quake By The Lake that is a special show that has his debut in 2022. I think if they do it they would be succesful.

Other stadiums for Dynamite tapings, I don´t think of any, maybe some MLB ballparks but I think using 30%-50% of a football stadium is easier to have a very good setup.

Next is ideas about PPV´s where I talk about locations as well of more PPV shows.
