The PPV with the best graphics, I love the gears

Darby Allin & Sting vs Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal

This match is walking a thin line, it could be one of the funniest matches in north american wrestling or a complete shitshow. Jarrett, I will admit, had entertained me but dude shouldn´t be in TV after this match. Darby needs to do something more than basically waiting until the build up for Sting´s PPV match starts. He hasn´t progressed anything in 2022, hopefully after this show he starts doing more sustantial stuff, this dude at one point was main eventing Dynamite shows and doing great ratings. (Winners: Darby Allin & Sting)

Wardlow vs Powerhouse Hobbs vs Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship

Wardlow is so cool that he´s still over after the bunch of nothing his championship reign has been. That Jay Lethal feud for sure was long and nothing really good and the feud vs The Embassy was weird but at least it had the super heavyweight crazyness that was the Brian Cage match. The feud with Hobbs has had some cool moments, I mean is not hard to get you excited when they are telling you this two mountains of man will beat the shit out of each other. Also Joe is here so that adds more beef on the plate. Really into this match even when the booking hasn´t been a really inspired one. (Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs)

Saraya vs Britt Baker

Hated the promo, the match has a low ceiling workrate wise and I don´t really care about Saraya. Hopefully both of them show out and make me shut the fuck up with some great stuff. Hopefully. (Winner: Saraya who also turns heel)

Triángulo de la Muerte vs The Elite for the AEW Trios Championships

The return of The Elite is here and I can´t wait. The Elite and Triángulo de la Muerte is a feud that started at 2020 and always delivers, filled with great moments and some of the best matches of all time. This new chapter has high expectations and when this six guys are in high stakes situation, they overdeliver BIG. (Winners: The Elite)

Jungleboy Jack Perry vs Luchasaurus in a Steel Cage match

I have high expectation for this one, Jungleman HAS TO deliver. This has to be full of nasty bumps, insults and a lot of blood. (Winner: Jungleboy Jack Perry)

Jericho vs Danielson vs Guevara vs Claudio for the ROH World Championship

The JAS vs BCC feud has been stretchered A LOT but workrate wise I think this has the potential to be one of the highlights of the show. Interested on what Danielson does here, I think he´s close to turn heel. (Winner: Bryan Danielson pinning Claudio)

Jade Cargill vs Nyla Rose for the TBS Championship

This has to be a sub-10 min hoss fight, just filled of powermoves. I expect this to rule. (Winner: Jade Cargill)

Toni Storm vs Jamie Hayter for the Interim AEW Women´s World Championship

This could be the best women´s match in AEW history, Jamie is super over but I think she should win it later, to be exact, after the Britt Baker feud. If she wins it I won´t have an issue. This match is a win-win situation. (Winner: Toni Storm)

The Acclaimed vs Swerve In Our Glory for the AEW World Tag Team Championships

I expect this to be great and specially for The Acclaimed getting the definitive win over SIOG and cement themselves as the top guys of the tag team division. This also would kickstart Swerve´s heel turn that I think it will be great, AEW needs freshness on the card and this would help. (Winners: The Acclaimed)

Jon Moxley vs MJF for the AEW World Championship

This is my most anticipated match of the show and is a really big high stakes match. I think this will be incredible, it will be nasty and I think MJF will win this without using shennanigans, without cheating. He won´t be a full blown babyface but also not a heel, he will be something in the middle and will work really well. (Winner: MJF)

Rating of the build up: 7/10. MJF vs Mox build peaked like 2–3 weeks ago but it might be the best World Championship build up for a PPV from AEW since Full Gear 2021. Revolution 2022 and Double Or Nothing 2022 had some stronger midcard programs that also this one really doesn´t have, still, this is MJF´s moment and as a huge fan of his I can´t wait to see that championship match.

Prediction of PPV buys: 140k. Even without CM Punk or Hangman Page on the card that have been the main draws in 3 of the previous 4 PPV´s events, I´m bullish on the success of this PPV. I think MJF has been killing it and his quarters are often the most watched on Dynamite. If this PPV does the prediction I´m giving I think AEW will have another homegrown main event draw and that´s huge.

Vibes the days before the show: It hasn´t been easy for AEW and Tony Khan, I would say they had lost a lot of momentum for multiple reasons, a momentum that I think it maybe feels that it could be their definitive peak but in my personal opinion I disagree, with the tools they have I think they are capable of even more than the mythical July 2021-June 2022.

I think Full Gear will be the real and definitive reset button.
