Yeah, let´s picture stuff that may or may not happen in this new year

I usually don´t write one of this but I think it would be fun to give my prediction on this wild world of All Elite Wrestling.

Takeshita will win a Championship in AEW and be a main event staple.

I won´t extend much in this one but I think the office in AEW have Takeshita in high regard and that´s why they are gonna pair him with Don Callis and The Elite, but Callis will turn heel in favour of Takeshita and his own stable as heels.

AEW will run a PPV show in a MLS Stadium

I have talked this one for a while and I think it will happen, the questions is when and where, my prediction also adds that they will book an MLS stadium for the PPV where MJF will drop the belt. My bets are on the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey that can hold at least 25k but I wouldn´t be surprised if they choose the TQL Stadium in Cincinatti, Ohio that can hold at least 26k.

The Elite vs United Empire will be the Blood & Guts match

Omega vs Ospreay is treated as a big deal in AEW and NJPW and because they know will create huge money for both promotions I think they have already planned a long extended plant that will culminate in WK 18.

AEW will have the multiple tag matches between this factions and the big Blood & Guts match, Omega vs Ospreay II will happen in Forbidden Door 2023 and the third match between them will be on WK 2024.

AEW will sell their TV rights to FOX for $. 750M

FOX is fine with SmackDown but I think NBCU will buy the entire programming of WWE (Around $. 2.2B for RAW, SmackDown and NXT), but FOX has seen how AEW has performed going against SmackDown as well of watching how SmackDown has performed in cable I think the FOX Corporation will have a bidding war with WBD for AEW TV rights and I think FOX will win the bidding competition and have Dynamite, Rampage and the Battle Of The Belt shows on Network TV.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Hangman Page and the Young Bucks) will Re-Sign with AEW for another 5 years

The Gears Of Creation are the main reason this entire promotion exist. Tony Khan will work hard to re-sign them and repair whatever is damaged to have them for 5 more years in AEW.

CM Punk won´t wrestle in AEW again

For me the scrum is the reason Punk won´t be back. So that´s that.

Hangman Page will beat MJF for the AEW World Championship in Full Gear 2023, but the best match of MJF´s reign will be vs Eddie Kingston in Arthur Ashe Stadium

Hangman Page won his first World Championship in Full Gear 2021 and MJF did it in Full Gear 2022, Hangman Page will save AEW by beating MJF and take the Triple B, the AEW World Championship BUT I think MJF and Tony Khan have already planned the Eddie Kingston feud and I think they will use as a template the Hangman & Dark Order vs The Elite booking in July 2021 as the build up (5v5 Elimination Match) and Cactus Jack vs Triple H match from the Royal Rumble in 2000 as the main source for the match in Arthur Ashe, also I will go as far to say that MJF will retain when Claudio Castagnoli attacks Kingston with a chair. Also for the #AttendanceFreaks I think Arthur Ashe will have 19,500 in attendance.

AEW will have the best women´s division in the US and Mercedes Varnado will be the main heel

I mean is not that difficult, just having logical booking makes you wonders. Even if they receive gigantic amount of praise they should try to be the best women´s division in the world. I think they are capable of doing it. About Mercedes, she HAS to be a heel, Hayter is the World Champion and receive main event babyface cheers. Also I think Mercedes thrives as a heel.

The hottest feuds in AEW outside the World Championship will be (No particular order):

  • Mercedes Varnado vs Jamie Hayter
  • Britt Baker vs Jamie Hayter
  • The Elite vs UE (First half of the year)
  • The Elite, Kota Ibushi, Konosuke Takeshita & Don Callis (Second half of the year)
  • Konosuke Takeshita vs BCC
  • MJF vs Los Ingobernables de Japón
