A Place for More Opportunities

We all know why AEW Collision has been on the middle of the discourse in social media, Collision would be the CM Punk exclusive show and I find this completely interesting. an experiment of management that a lot of people are agnostic for very valid reasons but an experiment that I find myself very optimistic and quite excited.

Tony Khan´s management has been not at the level required, this shouldn´t have happened but now here we are, Andrew Zarian has said that Punk will be back on his own show called AEW Collision that will have a runtime of two hours at primetime every Saturday and we even have the first main program of said show that would be Chris Jericho (JAS) vs CM Punk (CMFTR).

We have talked at least since AEW was back on the road that they have a huge roster that couldn´t be used at his fullest because they don´t have enough time for all and I´m 50–50 on that but Collision should bring a lot of positive things for the large AEW roster.

Main Event Scene

We know Punk will be the top star and draw on this show, that with Jericho will build the bases for the rest of the card. Those two would be my definitive drawing cards at the moment.

  • CM Punk
  • Chris Jericho

Upper Midcard

Here I put the talent that are important but aren´t as big as Punk or Jericho, here the thing gets a little bit hard because I don´t know this people and their relationship with Punk, either way this is the people I would feature in key roles.

  • The Acclaimed
  • Rush
  • Samoa Joe
  • Wardlow
  • Ricky Starks
  • Powerhouse Hobbs
  • FTR
  • Keith Lee
  • Swerve Strickland
  • Adam Cole

Midcard

This people will be elevated or stay to put over the main event and upper midcard scene. This place of the card have from veterans to prospects, people that are waiting for that push to reach the next level.

  • Lance Archer
  • Jeff Jarrett
  • Jay Lethal
  • Action Andretti
  • Bandido
  • Dralístico
  • Preston Vance
  • Daniel García
  • Sammy Guevara

The Championships in the show and the World Title dilema

The issue with having a lot of the top guys separated is that the World Championship might not be in a show for an extended period of time. There have been shows that have done well without a World Champion but is difficult to not have a World Championship program in a two hour show. Here are the Championships I would use for AEW Collision.

  • TNT Championship
  • Tag Team Championships
  • TBS Championship

The Championships listed are almost exclusive to Collision but they could appear on Dynamite if the holder can be on the three shows. I think MJF could do both shows.
