Biased Thoughts: AEW Dynamite #213

I liked the recap opener not for week to week BUT after important shit is good. Adam Cole and MJF storyline this week was okay but Rod Strong yelling Adam is not funny at this point.
Orange Cassidy vs Claudio Castagnoli for the AEW International Championship (***3/4) They absolutely have one better in the future but this one was incredible, showcasing OC´s babyface performance and Claudio Castagnoli excellent heel work as basically been Superman.
Mogul Embassy vs Hangman Page & The Young Bucks (**1/2) More of an angle and that was executed well, I think keeping Hangman and The Bucks separated would be a great idea because Hangman is way better alone or at least without having to be always with the same people.
Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega vs 2.0 (***) Decent match. The angle was more interesting and we will have a wild street fight for Dynamite in Ontario, California.
Hikaru Shida vs Willow Nightingale (***) I thought it would be better but it was decent. Curious to see if Toni Storm wins the belt, I think the next Champion hasn´t debuted though and I´m not talking abour Mercedes Moné.
The Elite brought new interesting bits to their interactions and I really like it, they are better off separated because evene when it started with premise it wasn´t booked to his potential and any ounce of energy is off so yeah, is better to separate them because there´s more fresh stuff that they could do. Specially if we get Ibushi more times in the shows.
Bullet Club Gold vs MJF & The Acclaimed (***1/2) Very good main event where The Acclaimed felt important even if I didn´t like the buildup to this match I accept that this landed well and delivered.
Rating of the Show: 6/10
Middle of the road shows where my main concerns is the amount of comedy/cartoon acts in main event angles but this is a weekly issue at this point. There were a really good match and a solid one. I expect next week and in two weeks to feel hotter and hopefully more heated angles and promos.
