Claudio Castagnoli vs Eddie Kingston for the ROH World Championship and NJPW Openweight Championship (****1/4) Amazing match, what we wanted we got it here, specially the hard hitting exchanges as well of fantastic selling. I thing their match in Supercard Of Honor is just a bit better but still, whenever they decide to do the trilogy it will be a must watch. Right now they are 1–1 overall in AEW/ROH.

Chris Jericho vs Sammy Guevara (***1/4) Messy at parts but the finish was great. The turn after the match worked really well, will be really interesting to see the hierarchy in the Don Callis Family because I think Takeshita is the main guy. Sammy Guevara back to the heel side is great because he is better in that spot.

Rey Fenix vs Jon Moxley for the AEW International Championship (***1/2) This was as messy as the previous match and had a lot of great moments. Hopefully Mox is well and I´m happy for Fenix. Bittersweet.

Saraya vs Toni Storm for the AEW Women´s World Championship (***) A bit too much of schtick but to be honest some of the wackyness really hit. I do not like that Saraya is the Champion and hopefully her reign ends soon, also I love Toni Storm new character eventhough as I said before is too wacky, I would like it to be more vicious and violent.

Samoa Joe vs MJF for the AEW World Championship (****1/4) This was a great match with a fantastic work from Joe and a very good performance from MJF. There´s things that I didn´t like, at this point MJF should decide to be a face or a heel because if not the pyschology of the match and in this case the post match angle is going to be confusing. I´m starting to get tired of MJF and Cole schtick specially when the AEW World Chapionship is involved but we will see how it goes. I have a theory that MJF will loose the belt at Full Gear.

Rating of the Show: 7.5/10

Show was good but I thought this one would turn around a bit of doubts I had coming in, some of my main issues grew but either way, two excellent matches and there wasn´t any real bad thing. Hope Mox recovers well. I´m starting to loose interest in MJF´s title reigns, his undecision to be either a full face or a full heel is fucking up the psychology of the main event matches and angles. Joe giving MJF a handshake was really stupid.

Extra Notes:

  • Kingston beating Claudio in New York was a great moment.
  • GLAD that Hangman is having week to week progression in AEW shows although I think is time for him to be a bit alone, I LOVE The Elite but having the group with different targets is a way to use them better. Omega vs Takeshita and Hangman vs Swerve are good feuds, now we need to find a feud for The Bucks. But they could team whenever but the main feud for The Elite doesn´t need to only be other stable
  • I know Takeshita has a DDT show in some days and he needs to be in Japan, but we need to have him in TV more, like Hangman, we need week to week progression. Not because is my favorite but because he beat Kenny Omega in PPV almost clean.
