Biased Thoughts: AEW Dynamite #205

Jon Moxley vs AR Fox for the AEW International Championship (***1/4) Good match, although the interesting thing was the OC promo that was really good as well of Mox entering the ring before Cassidy could even leave the ring.
Kris Statlander vs Emi Sakura for the TBS Championship (***1/2) Great sprint for Krist Statlander and a good showing for Emi Sakura. Fun stuff.
Aussie Open vs Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara (***3/4) Another great match, I didn´t liked the result but shit Jericho has to get some W´s. Aussie Open had lost but I think it will be an storyline or at least that is what I expect. I will give them the benefit of the doubt either way, great stuff.
MJF and Joe promo was a mixed bag, MJF wasted a bit of time with whack jokes but at least we got some good stuff here and there. I don´t like the amount of times he mentions WWE but eh. Samoa Joe vs MJF will be a hell of a match that I can´t wait to see, also hopefully MJF goes more serious with this feud if not I might be having some issues with this whole MJF/Cole/Strong storyline.
Roderick Strong vs Trent (***) Had his moments but felt bland, also the crowd wasn´t into it. Weird.
COWBOY SHIT TIME! and this one was the best promo of the show, Swerve mentions a lot of Hangman´s flaws and what I liked is that they could had easily use a lazy shoot but Swerve worked it into kayfabe sense. Fantastic set up for this feud. Hopefully Swerve gets a win vs Hangman, he needs it to be established.
Darby Allin vs Nick Wayne (***1/2) Darby´s bumps are so nasty man. Basic teacher vs student dynamic and all looked good. Strong finish for a good Dynamite cannot wait for next week´s episode.
Rating of the Show: 8/10
Maybe not the highest highs workrate wise but a very focused show, focused meaning a lot feels connected. I would like the main event to be a bit more serious specially MJF and Strong but the rest goes from interesting to I CAN´T FUCKING WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS. There are rumbles that Takeshita vs Ibushi is a match that will happen, will be interesting of where and when.
Extra Notes:
- Takeshita is been treated with focus on this show with week to week follow up, KEEP IT GOING.
- I think Aussie Open will be Tag Champions, FTR and The Bucks are the main teams to beat.
- Very good show, eventhough the main event scene isn´t much my thing although has it´s moments.
