Biased Thoughts: AEW Dynamite #202

Orange Cassidy vs Wheeler Yuta for the International Championship (***3/4) This was good but not at the level of their match earlier in the year. This setup a wild brawl between a shit ton of people and Kingston finally back challenge BCC in a Stadium Stampede match.
Omega sits with JR and almost inmediately gets attacked by Bullet Club Gold in a BRUTAL manner and then Takeshita just destroy this dude. Then Hangman is in the hospital and is drinking a beer again, announcing the huge six man tag that has been rumored for a week. The ring will be complete with top tier/level talent.
Jericho wasn´t accepted in The Don Callis Family, Jericho was greeted with a stiff elbow from Will Ospreay and we will have this singles match at Wembley. Will be great, I trust Ospreay and Jericho to deliver in the biggest wrestling show in 7 years.
Darby Allin & Nick Wayne vs KAUN & Toa Liona (***1/4) Very good formula match with an hilarious postmatch. Joker Sting is back and yeah, this will rule.
MJF and Cole time and they took a lot of time, the pretape was decent but not very much my thing BUT the in ring promo was fantastic, selling the importance of the match with Cole and MJF delivering tremendous promos with the crowd in the palm of their hands. Spectcular.
Jeff Jarrett vs Jeff Hardy in a Texas Massacre(?) Deathmatch for the Leatherface(?) Championship (-*) This was wrestlecrap and shouldn´t had happened on Dynamite. This was awful, Hardy´s and Jarrett should fuck off from Dynamite and Collision.
Britt Baker vs The Bunny (**1/2) A match that existed.
HOB attacked The Acclaimed to heat up their match, I don´t know where it would be but I think LFI were better suited for such big stage and well, Andrade has been feuding with this guys for some weeks.
Young Bucks vs The Gunns (***) Match was fun but it was bit rushed, again the post match was good.
Rating of the Show: 7/10
Yeah, I understand that the deatmatch was AWFUL but the angles and promos were AWESOME. Cole and MJF deliver some of their best work in that ring navigating a tire trope perfectly that it feels really fresh and the match feels hot. A bit speedrun build for the six man but it was really effective and has all of my favorites and someone that can enter at that level soon (Juice Robinson). Good show.
Extra Notes:
- The six man tag is big, multiple stories between the two teams. Takeshita in front of +80k people will be great.
- I bet Ospreay will have a 4.5 star match in England.
- Darby is having fantastic feuds in both shows.
