Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin vs Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland (****) Awesome tag team match with the Swerve and Keith beef that feel revitalized after this match. Keith Lee best performance since All Out 2022.
The Acclaimed vs The Blade & The Bollywood Boys (**1/2) Whatever, this was just meh. I agree that the crowd is really loud but I can´t fathom to care about a feud vs QTV or chashing a Championship belt to a 50 yo wrestler. We will see how it goes but I don´t really care.
MJF & Adam Cole vs Matt Menard & The Butcher (BEAST) Listen man, I wasn´t that excited for this match but this really worked man. This was beast because it was hilarious and bizarre the babyface chants for MJF as well of Cole stubborness with Max. Fun character work even if the trope has been used a lot over the years, this guys are pulling it off.
Britt Baker vs Ruby Soho in the Quarter Final of The Owen Tournament (**1/4) This was no good and with a shitstorm of interferences LMAO. This division will never be something great with this booking and some of the talent that haven´t got better. At least some interactions were fun.
Kenny Omega vs Wheeler Yuta (****) Fantastic main event with well earn kick outs as well of a very great selling work from Omega. Yuta looked awesome in this match and a crazy brawl ended the show, this is great. I need my Takeshita vs Hangman match though, hopefully soon.
Rating of the Show: 7.5/10
Over delivered. The card wasn´t strong aside from the main event that in my opinion was must watch and was tremendous. There was some bad stuff like The Acclaimed and QTV stuff that it should always be in Rampage. The opener was excellent and this helped the people who lost, looking forward for what Keith Lee and Swerve do now that the new kid Nick Wayne will be in AEW and what Darby does if Swerve destroys Nick.
Extra Notes:
- Britt should take a break for a while.
- MJF and Adam Cole segments and matches have been GOLD.
- Need a big singles match in the go home episode for Blood & Guts, hopefully it envolves Hangman.
- The expecations for Blood & Guts are real, the 5th man for both BCC and The Elite are very interesting picks SPECIALLY the BCC side.
