Biased Thoughts: AEW Dynamite #194

The Gunns vs The Hardy´s (**) Was more of an angle but The Hardy´s can´t go in the ring anymore at a top level, the angle afterwards was great and that set up a big tag match for Collision in Toronto.
Mark Briscoe vs Jeff Jarrett (**3/4) Had his fun moments but following an angle with interferences with this one was too much LMAO, either way had some fun moments but I think the Jarrett´s should get a cycle off because they have been overused.
Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki & Sammy Guevara vs AR Fox, Darius Martin & Action Andretti (***1/2) This was tremendously fun and the kind of tag matches that make the Road To Forbidden Door something great, having this show is a cheat code to create great moments and matches. Sting was great in his promo and we will know who will be teaming with him and Darby, my bet is on Tetsuya Naito.
MJF and Adam Cole will be teaming in a really bizarre tournament but that for sure will be fun as well that MJF vs Tanahashi will take place this weekend. The Owen is fine, hopefully Athena wins it, her run has been great as ROH Champion and she could be able to have a spectacular feud with Statlander.
Orange Cassidy & Katsuyori Shibata vs Daniel García & Zack Sabre Jr (***1/4) This was very funny man I always pop for the shit talking of Zack Sabre Jr. Shibata and García were good and Cassidy never misses. Another fun Road To tag match. The 4 Way will be interesting, García has been chasing for a while.
Kris Statlander vs Taya Valkyrie for the TBS Championship (***) Solid stuff, not much to extend about but another good defense by Statlander.
Eddie Kingston was out to announce his partner for the Forbidden Door tag match and boy this was really good because we finally had the face off between Okada and Bryan Danielson. I CAN´T WAIT for Forbidden Door, a tremendous card and with at least 13k people chanting.
Rating of the Show: 8/10
Eventhought it didn´t had a blown away match it had A LOT of tremendous moments and fun stuff in general. Maybe not at the level of last week´s show but a great build to Forbidden Door.
Extra Notes:
- Takeshita will be an AEW World Champion really soon, a lot of people are really high on him.
- I would liked a big tag match from the excellent closing angle of last week´s Dynamite but I understand why they didn´t do it.
- Okada legit TOP GUY everywhere.
- Forbidden Door has the potential to be the best AEW show of all time.
