Bryan Danielson vs Ethan Page (***3/4) The match starts and MJF is saying shit to Bryan and Ethan, Page being this goof but always in TV has been nice to see. The match was really good, Bryan is always good as a babyface and Page really gets the boos going so is a perfect mix.
Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli vs Top Flight (****) The BCC beating the shit out of brave young lads that have tremendous potential, this is a buildup between Top Flight vs Mox & Claudio where at the same time said stable is feuding vs Hangman and vs MJF. Tremendous match.
Hook killed a jobber and then we proceeded with a great segment to set up the tag match between Hook & Jack Perry vs Lee Moriarty & Big Bill. I´m into the story and I bet the venue wether is Seattle or Los Angeles will explode when Hook suplexes Big Bill.
The Elite vs Triángulo de la Muerte in the Sixth match of the Best of 7 Series in a Falls Count Anywhere match (****1/2) Best match of the series since Chicago, insane match with an excellent ending with the Super One Winged Angel. The Elite and specially the Young Bucks are undefeated (Match quality wise) in no DQ tag matches. They have done it again.
Ruby Soho & Willow Nightingale vs Tay Melo & Anna J.A.S (NR) I couldn´t see the full match but I read it was solid, they are building Soho vs Melo for a match later, hopefully is a No DQ. Great to see Willow in TV.
Samoa Joe vs Wardlow for the TNT Championship (***1/2) Great booking mixed with tremendous classic heel work from Joe. The King of TV retains his TNT Championship but Darby wants a rematch and will for sure be in Seattle, in his hometown. I can´t wait. Wardlow needs some time off to rebuild his character, I really see him as a World Champion contender if the booking is right and now he has Joe as his main rival.
Rating of the show: 9/10
Extra Notes:
- Another great show, they´re on a streak.
- Other show with the focus on the young guys, keep it going.
- Main event was one of the best bookings from Khan, it protected everyone, specially Wardlow.
- The Elite doesn´t miss, maybe the best stable of the 21st Century.
- I need Jamie Hayter vs Toni Storm in a Steel Cage, is the next logical big match of Hayter´s reign.
- Mox vs Hangman will be the best feud of 2023, you hear it here first.
