William Regal and Jon Moxley segment was really interesting but I understand that for a lot of people didn´t land. Basically Bryan was trying to keep Regal alive because Mox was about to kill him. Bryan finally convince Mox to not hurt Regal. For me it was really good.
Orange Cassidy vs Jake Hager for the AEW All Atlantic Championship (**1/2) The important thing here was the postmatch and it was great. House Of Black is usually hit or miss for me but them only kicking everyone asses would be a good way to rehabilitate the stable.
Ricky Starks vs Ethan Page in the Final of the Eliminator Tournament (***1/2) Very good final, Ricky was over in Chicago and that helped the match a lot. Page did well as the main heel of the tournament.
Triángulo de la Muerte vs The Elite in the Second match of the Best of 7 Series for the Trios Championships (****1/2) This match was 100% atmosphere and how pro wrestlers react in different situations. The Elite in any shape or form were gonna get cheered so they adjusted and push it to the limit. Triángulo de la Muerte were the babyfaces with an edge in Chicago, this ruled.
Jamie Hayer & Britt Baker vs Willow Nightingale & Skye Blue vs Anna Jay & Tay Conti (**3/4) Fun sprint, there were some highlights from Skye Blue. Great decision to stop using the “Interim” because nobody knows when Rosa is coming back. Jamie Hayter is THE Women´s World Champion now.
The Acclaimed segment was to the point and was over with the crowd so that means the perfect segment.
Chris Jericho vs Tomohiro Ishii for the ROH World Championship (****1/4) This match was hard hitting, nasty lariats, mean pro wrestling between bad motherfuckers.
Rating of the show: 9/10
Extra Notes:
- The crowd in Chicago was an all timer.
- Ricky Starks will have the biggest test of his career and I think he will succeed with flying colors.
- I didn´t like that MJF wasn´t in the show, not even in a pretape.
- I think is part of the storyline but I hope Jamie talks more in his segments, she has to be the centerpiece.
- Konosuke Takeshita with Don Callis as his manager is a money drawing main event act, so is great to see that they are doing it.
