Jon Moxley vs Sammy Guevara in the Second Round of the Tournament of Champions (***3/4) Moxley is in top form and is becoming a tradition this dude have a good to great match everytime he steps foot in the squared circle, Guevara is a top heel because I haven´t watched this amount of hate on someone, it will be funny to read twitter when he beats someone beloved by the internet fanbase.

MJF promo was great, the usual level with good comedic timing and also walking a dangerous thin line like he always do. Stokely´s stable is bizarre but I´m interested how much it helps Lee Moriarty. The Gunn Club are heat machines and if The Acclaimed win the Tag Belts they need to run it back.

Jungleboy Jack Perry vs Jay Lethal (***1/4) A solid match to heat up the Jungleboy like Joe Lanza says, with Christian´s injury I guess is a good idea to keep him winning in TV so he will be going strong to start that blood feud again.

Hobbs vs Ricky 2? Yeah, that should be great. Starks as a babyface has a lot of potential specially when MJF will have that Championship soon.

Darby Allin vs Matt Hardy looks like will be a match in Rampage and even when is painful to watch Matt Hardy in 2022 one of the guys that can have something solid out of him is Darby, also great news that they have started to heat up Darby again, there´s a World Championship feud waiting too happen between him and MJF.

Swerve In Our Glory vs Lucha Brothers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships (****) Another great match by Swerve In Our Glory, great spots and nearfalls with the characteristic Lucha Bros crazyness. The Acclaimed appeared after the match and I think they are the most over act in AEW behind the main eventers and that´s not easy, I expect another great match now but with a bigger crowd, can´t wait.

Toni Storm & Athena vs Britt Baker & Serena Deeb (***1/2) Yeah they used shenanigans for the finish but this was a very good match and I think doing this tag matches are better for the division than doing squash matches, still is a long way to go to have a good division but this is a good start.

Chris Jericho vs Bryan Danielson in the Second Round of the Tournament of Champions (****1/4) Two all timers having a great match, Danielson in an historical run and Jericho in a resurgence year, I see this as the last dance of Jericho in the main event scene. Danielson is a wizard and I wouldn´t mind seeing him as the babyface champion vs MJF in Full Gear.

Rating of the show: 7/10

Extra Notes:

  • Bryan Danielson vs Jon Moxley and Swerve In Our Glory vs The Acclaimed have a really high ceiling.
  • Eventhough the roster is full, I think Dalton Castle for the same role that Jay Lethal has but in the babyface side would be great, a gatekeeper for the heels that need to heat up.
  • I will say it again, Samoa Joe and Claudio Castagnoli should be having AEW midcard feuds, using the ROH belts at this point is blocking them of using them in his full potential.
  • I need more Hangman Page and Dark Order vs Los Ingobernables in TV, that feud has huge potential
  • Some changes in graphics and specially the entrance would be great, would help to fresh things up
