Biased Thoughts: AEW Dynamite #152

Great promo by Mox showing not respect for CM Punk, it looks like finding out who´s the person who will sign the contract for the Championship match at All Out will be the main focus of today´s show, Ace Steel took the contract so I´m 100% sure it will be Punk lol.
Danielson is a wizard and Hager has been putting all the effort everytime he is in the ring, really fun match (***1/2) with a great post match angle adding fire to the dilemma García has between choosing his favourite wrestler of all time or the man who helped him in a very tough moment in his life.
A random segment with the re-debut of W. Morrissey kicking the shit out of the Wingmen to then join Stokely Hathaway´s stable (A real bizarre stable including the Gunn Club, Lee Moriarty and Ethan Page). An absurd signing, I don´t have any interest of any type of push Morrissey could receive.
Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs Hikaru Shida & Toni Storm (***1/4) a preview of the interim´s Championship Womens match with his good moments, fun sprint. Good decision on Baker getting pinned by Shida.
Tremendous segment with Punk and Ace Steel, from talking like someone who´s about to quit to then getting pure motivation from an old friend. Mox and Punk are masters of promos.
Wheeler Yuta vs Dante Martin vs Rush vs Rey Fénix (***1/4) in another preview but in this case of the Casino Ladder match, it was a really good spotfest with all four having a chance to shine and I see a lot of interesting singles matches between this four in the future.
The Elite vs United Empire in the Semifinals of the Trios Tournament (****3/4) there´s something so funny in this kind of matches in how it divides all the fans, in my case, I love this type of trios because the whole promotion was built on this type of crazy matches, also add the Omega and Ospreay interactions to build their inevitable singles match and boy, we have something special here.
Extra Notes:
- Ospreay´s booked in NJPW the day Grand Slam takes place and I understand that is not a wrestler under an AEW contract but Arthur Ashe would have been a great scenario for their match. I guess we will have to wait until January 4th.
- I still don´t know why Khan signed W. Morrisey
- I think Rush has a higher ceiling than Andrade in AEW for some reason, because Andrade is better in ring than him.
- All Out card looks great
- ¿Does Chicago Still Loves CM Punk? or even better ¿Does AEW fans still love CM Punk?
