AEW Collision: Bullet Club Gold vs Punk Squad
More Time and More Opportunities if ALL goes as PLANNED
Dynamite has been having a lot of great stuff on TV with The Elite vs BCC at the forefront and MJF always delivering matches even when the in between is not as great, with Orange Cassidy been the valiant babyface that is destroying his body to keep the belt. Great new pushes like the one Takeshita is receiving with Don Callis in his corner as a top heel in the promotion building to a blockbuster match between him and Kenny Omega.
Collision has positioned two units as the main stars of the show, the Punk team that includes Punk, FTR and I think Ricky Starks will be added to this vs Bullet Club Gold, the unit leaded by Jay White that forms a weird association with Samoa Joe at this point and that will add The Gunns to the group in the future.
This kind of stables fights are usually incredible, with hot tag, singles and plunder matches specially with the level of talent available.
Even if the people would think the main feud would be CM Punk vs Jay White because they are the leaders of each unit, I think this is a swerve for the real longterm plan are Samoa Joe vs CM Punk and Ricky Starks vs Jay White.
Other Fundamental Parts:
We don´t fully know who will be at what show, but I would guess all the Champions can show up in both AEW big shows. I think Wardlow would be great in this show and not feel overshadowed by other reigns like the one OC has been having.
Other talents like Miro, Andrade, Scorpio Sky and Thunder Rosa will be featured, I think they are good to great, the one who has the most interesting and fast storyline potential is Andrade with the LFI faction by mainly the sensational work Rush has been doing. The tag division needs some steam back and I think Andrade & Rush would be the best team to put the belts on, also is a good way to reward Rush.
Miro will be an interesting case, he is a very good barrier for new babyfaces and even if some people don´t like his style I find him a very interesting character and I loved some of his matches.
I think this show will need some babyfaces, this spots would be ideal for people like Bandido that even if he is been utilized to get people really over using his top level in ring I think is time to push him in a serious manner, Wardlow will be another babyface as well of Ricky Starks.
